भरोसा

ठहरे हुए पानी में
कभी डाल देते हो पत्थर
लहरों से खेलने ..
या जूझने को।


रास्ते समझ आते  ही
जोड़ देते हो चंद और राहें
मंजिल से भटकने  को ।


कभी छोड़ देते हो
बांध कर आँखों पर पट्टी;
छुपा-छुपायी के खेल सा

फिर कहते हो
पहचानो लोगों को !


तुम्हारा भरोसा भी
मुझ पर इस क़दर है
जो बिखरने भी नहीं देता
और संभलने भी नहीं ।

सपना

एक सपना है
सालों से देख रही हूँ

बेईमानियों के साथ
खेल, खेल रही हूँ
जीत नही पाती
हारती ही हूँ हर बार;
पर एक नशा है
हर बार नयी
चाल चलने का :)

हारे हुए कई इनाम
जमा हो गए है
बेच दूं क्या?
शायद वो सपना खरीद पाऊँ !

Mirror

mirror, mirror on the wall

do you belong to some actress
oblivious of her heart,
ever wanting to be admired
for the makeup man's art.

afraid of anonymity
ignoring the voice within,
she cared for masks
more than her own skin.

couldn't she ever
let herself stay,
just coz she was known
some other way.


mirror, mirror on the wall

have you turned friendly
or still speak the truth?
why don't you tell her
a lot more she is worth!

all she'll get
is comedown and pity,
by drifting away
from
her wonderful originality!

Revisit

the thought of tracing back
those few steps of mine
is unwanted n scary
n tough to determine!

why was I trapped
to threads unseen
no efforts could resolve,
how-so-ever keen.

would you only watch
or try to answer
the queries unquestioned
that I still ponder;

or shall I assume:

not everything is to be told
to the world..out n bold,

few are meant to realize n cure
to make d recovery fast n sure...
